The place has inviting atmosphere and lovely setting too. The coffee didn't disappoint us and plenty of flavors to offer. I love how pleasant the flavor was and it smell good too. The food was beyond great. So appetizing and good portion as well. The pizzas were the best and salad was made fresh. Good ingredients and well-seasoned too. Excellent breakfast meals.

Love the rigatoni bolognese! It's my go to comfort food. The broccolini is also really delicious. Quality is always on point

This brunch spot surprised with its inviting atmosphere and satisfying offerings. Firstly, the cappuccino was indeed one of the best I've had in recent memory. Perfectly crafted, it boasted a robust flavor without any bitterness--a testament to their barista's skill. Moving on to the food, the truffle fries were a standout. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously infused with truffle essence, they were an addictive delight that paired well with the casual, laid-back vibe of the place. The avocado toast was another winner. Unlike many places that skimp on toppings, here they were generous with adding eggs, elevating the dish to a hearty and satisfying brunch option. Although I didn't get to try their cocktails this time, the promise of returning for them is strong. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, making it an ideal spot to unwind with friends over a leisurely brunch.

Really wonderful place, fun name, great service, clean restaurant and great food. We stopped by for brunch and I had the fried chicken and waffle. My wife had the waffletella. The first thing we noticed was that both waffles were really fresh, unlike the last brunch place we went to that was seriously frozen waffles. They were light and crispy and the fried chicken was really great with the fried crispy basil. The Asian touch was really something different and we really like the sauce they gave to go with the chicken too. I would recommend that dish to anyone, it was that good.

I really LOVE this place and it's come really far since the last time I came. They've expanded the restaurant and made it quite larger. And even with that, it was super busy and filled so much to have a waiting line outside. I had made a reservation so we were seated promptly at a great table. Lovely Laura waited on us and she was a joy! Friendly, helpful with suggestions and really genuine. We started off with the Fried Calamari with marinara and citrus and the Caesar Salad. And wow, the lemony salad dressing was the bomb! Since I had fallen in love with their Spaghetti Carbonara, I couldn't help but order it again. It's a simple pasta that comes with pancetta, parmesan and pecorino cheese but the egg yolk completes the dish. As Laura suggested, I added broccoli to it and it was even tastier! Without a doubt, it was as amazing as I remembered. My husband ordered the Ortolana Pizza which included eggplant, san marzano tomato, fior di latte, artichoke, tomatoes and basil topped with eggplant. He also added mushrooms to it and he loved it! He also eyed some yummy looking French Fries at another table and we added it to our order! We must've been hungry! We completed our dinner with the delicious warm Flourless Chocolate Cake wirh vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, which made the whole experience pure perfection! Met Him At A Bar is one of the few restaurants that I will never tire of frequenting.

WHAT A GEM! Shocked I've never left a review for this place. Been here a million times, everything is delicious, even though I get the same thing every time lobster pasta. Let's talk about the lobster pasta, chunks of claw meat,al dente spaghetti, creamy, sweet, tangy pink sauce , decadent. The calamari is my favorite starter, crunchy, light breading, fresh calamari, perfectly balanced marinara for dipping. Also their cocktails! My first few visits here they had this delightful chamomile tea infused cocktail that i loved. Then there was the Milano got, an earl grey infused cocktail, i couldn't get enough of. Now that, that's off the menu, I get the Spa Day, a eucalyptus infused, beautifully bubbly drink. There's valet parking, permitted neighborhood and street parking. Great seating, semi-family friendly, I'd say kids over 8 imo, great for birthdays, group gatherings, and date nights.

Saturday date night vibes! Atmosphere and ambiance is great. Cocktails were meh and pricey at $18 a piece, not worth it. Food was phenomenal. Calamari was crispy, in a fried chicken-esque batter that we loved (think KFC, but gourmet). Marina dip was honestly top 3 I've ever had. Pastas were also really, really good. Vodka rigatoni is good, not best I've had, but good creaminess and slight spice. Carbonara was star of the show, incredibly creamy, just right amount of salty, and the noodle was cooked to perfection.

Nestled amidst the vibrant streets of Los Angeles, this brunch spot is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a cozy, chic atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace. The aesthetic vibes are off the charts here! The bathroom was a little scary though... but everything else, cute!! XD Food was decent! Highlight was definitely the Thai Fried Chicken & Waffles. They have other great selections for brunch. We chose Met Him over Met Her at a bar because the wait at her was forever!! we walked across and saw that there was no wait here! I will say they dont have absolutely EVERYTHING on the menu over at Her, but very close and the star favs were here! The service here is top-notch too - friendly, attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're catching up with friends over brunch or treating yourself to a solo meal, this place ticks all the boxes !

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner with a friend, and it did not disappoint! The vibes here are awesome. Super lively and upbeat but just mellow enough to have a nice dinner and good conversation. To drink, I got the Spa Day and my friend got the Yard Sale. I thought the cocktails here were really good. Not the strongest by any means, but mine was refreshing and on the sweeter side. For apps, we got the Arancini to start. I wasn't expecting this to come in one giant ball, so it was interesting having to cutting it apart and splitting it for two but this was absolutely delicious. So crispy and crunchy on the outside and the risotto was creamy and cheesy on the inside. For pastas, we got the Rigatoni Vodka and the Pasta Alla Norma. The vodka pasta is great -- creamy and delectable -- but not the best I've had in LA. I do prefer my pasta a little bit on the firmer side, and this definitely delivered on the texture though. The Pasta Alla Norma was also good and I do really like the eggplant in this. For dessert, we tried the Flourless Chocolate Cake but didn't think it was anything to write home about. Love that it was paired with ice cream though. Service was also fantastic and our server was attentive and so kind. We also didn't have any trouble finding parking a few blocks away in the more residential areas!

Visiting my sister in Cali for her birthday and she wanted to go to her favorite places- well this was one. I got the cuddle buddy and I love me a good sip. Calamari my friend ate she said eight outta ten. Bruschetta slapped, carbonara slapped, and the bolognese was sooooo good! Now get into our server. Corey. He was great! Super attentive, stylish, knowledgeable and just weak. A server can make or break your experience so I'm thankful for him. Also was able to get him to help me wish my sister a happy birthday so I'm thankful for him aiding to the experience! This place is super cute, cozy and good vibes. My sister wanted to visit all of her favorite places during this week and this was one!
